Frequently asked questions

What do I need to get started?

A Notion workspace with a tasks database and a Google Calendar account. Blox handles the rest — connect both and configure your column mappings in under 2 minutes.

Will Blox overwrite my calendar events?

Never. Blox creates new time-block events in a separate schedule database (or calendar). It reads your existing events to avoid conflicts, but never modifies or deletes your events.

What happens if I move a time block?

It gets locked. Blox detects your manual edit and permanently protects that block. Future runs will only reschedule untouched, bot-generated blocks.

Is there a free tier?

During the beta, Blox is completely free for approved users. We'll introduce pricing tiers after launch, but early beta users will always get a generous discount.

How often can I run the scheduler?

As often as you want (with a 5-minute cooldown between runs). Most users run it once in the morning and once after lunch when priorities shift.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. We use Supabase with row-level security, encrypted OAuth tokens, and never store your actual task or event content. Only the metadata needed for scheduling.
